Quentin Tarantino is working on, or may have already completed, a feature length screenplay in the style of a spaghetti western, it has been recently announced.
While details are unconfirmed, the film has been rumored by multiple sources to star Inglourious Basterds Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and legendary Italian actor Franco Nero. With the Sergio Leone-esque rumored title, The Angel, The Bad, and The Wise, the movie is set to begin shooting sometime later this year.
Tarantino has always hinted about doing a spaghetti western, which he has often referenced as one of his favorite types of movies. His new screenplay would add to his resume of films that pay homage and simultaneously transcend forgotten genres.
